|History of the Practice
I (Joseph J Tashjian, DVM) bought the large animal part of a mixed practice in 1994 and grew it from a 2 person practice. The practice was largely bovine so there was a lot of growth in the equine work and especially breeding work that occurs from March through June.
|What makes this practice special/Major selling points
The clients are down to earth and loyal with a wide breadth in the type of work done. The town is a great place to raise kids. There is a ski hill 4 miles up the road, cross country skiing and hiking in nearby parks, an amazing sledding hill, A larger ski hill just 18 miles south. There is plenty of potential for profit and a real need for a committed veterinarian in this area.
|What might the next owner need to improve in this practice?
We have kept things fairly up to date but a new facility could be a real asset.
