This is a well established practice that had been in operation for 19 years before our purchase in 2008. The practice has grown exponentially since that time. It is located in an upper middle to high income area of the county and boasts one of the most highly rated public school systems in the state, enjoying a high rate of college entrance and completion after high school graduation. Our pet parents are repeat clients who have resources they are willing to spend for continued exceptional care in the health of their pets. We have a strong prevention oriented approach to medicine that our pet owners both expect and appreciate. The Village of Granville is home to Denison University, a junior Ivy League school, and the town is know for its many churches, upscale shops and restaurants and community activities. It has a small town feel but is only a short distance from Columbus.

We are fortunate that the practice is located in a beautiful and prosperous area with an excellent and established clientele. The clinic itself is a 4400 square foot, modern facility with a vaulted, spacious reception area and extensive windows. The entire building is finished in solid oak. It is equipped with state of the art equipment including digital full body and dental x-ray, CO2 surgical laser, medical therapy laser, ultrasound, complete suite of Idexx lab equipment, Intravet integrated computer software with Talkatoo dictation, freestanding dental unit, incubator for cultures, multiple anesthesia machines and monitors, large wet table, IV pumps and autoclave. We are fortunate to employ a core, dedicated staff who are committed to preventive medicine and willing to spend time educating pet owners about the benefits of such. The clinic enjoys 3.5 acres of commercial real estate with a completely remodeled turn of the century home in front of the clinic. This lovely home can serve as the owner's residence or as a rental property. The practice grossed over $1.2 million in 2022 with one veterinarian. We also have the luxury of bringing in boarded specialists for advanced soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries, ultrasound with internal medicine consultation, and echocardiogram. Additionally, the new Intel chip complex is being built less than 20 miles from the property, and should provide continued opportunities for practice growth.
