History of the Practice
Established 1976, Dr. Grygotis became sole owner in 2012. Steady income except for the covid years, plenty of opportunity for growth if we get another full-time veterinarian. Beautiful community 40 miles east of Tucson. We serve mostly the more affluent clientele, who really appreciate high-quality medicine and surgery, and we send the vaccine-only and low-cost spay/neuter cases to other veterinarians we trust.
What makes this practice special/Major selling points
Client relations are excellent. Working environment is not rushed. After a few years of high turnover, we finally have staff members that are excellent in every way - medical competence, client relations, most business management functions, and they all work well together. We also work closely with the other vet clinic in town - no cut-throat competition.
What might the next owner need to improve in this practice?
More doctors. Arizona is short of DVMs, but that is likely to change as we start to see more graduates from two new vet schools in the state (Midwestern and U of A). We are especially looking forward to the first class out of U of A here in Tucson, and will be hosting some of their interns.
