Pumpkin Hill Veterinary Clinic is a highly successful busy practice in beautiful Western New York! In a charming rural setting unperturbed by any close neighbors, PHVC is a goldmine generating 1.7 million in revenue with only 1.5 full time veterinarians. The practice offers a blend of conventional and alternative medicine and services. The species currently treated are canine, feline, equine, caprine, ovine, bovine, camelids and the occasional porcine. - PHVC is one of the few practices in the area still offering a blend of large animal and small animal services as well as one of the few offering specialized techniques like Acupuncture, Chiropractic, Homeopathy, Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine and cold laser therapy. We draw clients from Rochester and Buffalo which are, respectively, 30 and 40 miles away.
- PHVC was started in 1996 by the husband and wife team of Catherine Homrig,DVM, and Richard Mathes,DVM who are both 1991 graduates of Oklahoma State University. Initially the practice was primarily large animal but over the years has evolved into a mostly small animal practice serving an eclectic and well educated clientele seeking the highest quality veterinary care.
